Pitaya flowers are in bloom at Jiading Industrial Zone’s Dengta Village. Pitaya flowers open at night and can be cut two hours after pollination without affecting the growth of the fruit. The flowering season lasts from June to mid October and Jiading residents will soon be able to enjoy the fruit, known as dragon fruit in English.
