Qing Dynasty bridge unearthed
PARTS of a bridge dating to the reign of Emperor Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) have been unearthed in Jiangqiao Town. According to documents, the bridge was named as Yangliu Bridge, constructed with donations of around 31 kilograms of silver by Cheng Qianwu in 1771. Cheng from Nanxiang Town donated over 50 bridges for the convenience of the locals.
