THE construction of Shanghai-Nantong Railway is scheduled to begin this year. The project starts at Nantong in Jiangsu Province, includes stops in Haimen, Shaxi, Taicang, and reaches Shanghai where it is divided into two lines. One ends in Jiading's Anting Town and the other links to Pudong Railway. When completed, the project will form a convenient transport network between Shanghai and the provinces of Jiangsu and Zhejiang.
