Last year Jiading achieved an added fiscal value of 70.62 billion yuan (US$10.3 billion), a year-on-year increase of 11.2 percent, reaching a total fiscal revenue of 23.28 billion yuan and local financial revenue of 6.8 billion, up 13.2 percent and 17 percent respectively compared with last year. It has attracted contracted foreign investment of US$850 million and foreign capital of US$640, as well as 10 foreign headquarters of different companies, accounting for 13.8 percent of all the headquarters coming to Shanghai.
