Rooms attract young workers in Anting
REAL Estate developer Vanke has launched long-term apartments for young people in Jiading’s Anting Town.
The apartments, furnished to suit modern tastes, benefit from facilities that include a canteen, recreation room, gym, laundry room and kitchen.
All the facilities jointly form a “big living room,” the developer says, for tenants to use after work.
Tenants can use their smartphones to check housing information and pay bills online. They may also book cleaning services or sign up for social events via an app.
Vanke launched the serviced apartments, which range from 12 and 32 square meters, early this year.
Twenty-five young people have already moved in, all of them workers in Anting Auto City. Ye Kai, one of the new tenants, said: “The apartment is well-decorated and at a reasonable price.”
Vanke also provides an apartment manager to help tenants.
The manager has introduced video games and fitness facilities to the tenants and also arranges frequent social gatherings.
Vanke is offering 293 rooms in its first phase. Only individuals between the ages of 18 and 45 can qualify for one of the apartments. A service hotline has been set up — 5912-1314.
