MINSHENG Rural Bank, jointly invested by Jiading District Government and China Minsheng Bank, has opened a new branch in Anting Town. By the end of June, the rural bank had total assets of 1.51 billion yuan (US$237.4 million). Loans to agricultural or small enterprises in Jiading's rural area took up over 90 percent of the bank's total loans.
