Six companies joining forces to clean up vehicle exhausts

Six companies in vehicle after-sales market have joined forces to set up an exhaust treatment center at Jiading Science Expo.

The center also has space at the National Exhibition Center to display their auto exhaust treatment solutions.

Two years ago Fan Renzhong, an owner of a automobile repair company, got to know Gui Jianming who invented a technology to decarbonize auto engines.

Fan found Gui’s technology very effective after he tried it out on an old car.

Fan’s company is good at sales while Gui’s team is skilled at research and development. Fan then invited his friend Wang Yinren to join them to develop an energy saving business. Wang has a great deal of experience in manufacturing.

However, they had no intention of developing exhaust treatment at that time.

At an industry activity the trio met Zhang Lei, an expert in repairing three-way catalytic converters.

The four decided to join forces to devote their time to exhaust treatment and with the hope of coming up with a systematic solution from front end to rear end of the exhaust system.

The solution has huge market potential and social benefits as highly polluted vehicles as well as some qualified vehicles cannot pass exhaust tests.

Next to join the team were Zhang Xiuliang from Shenzhen in the area of professional testing and Yan Xueyue in the automobile database field.

In March the six set up the China Automobile Internet Diagnosing Service Alliance. Their Automobile Internet Exhaust Treatment Center, which checks, diagnoses and upgrades the components of vehicles so that they can pass exhaust tests.

The center plans to set up a demonstration shop in Fengyang Road in Jiangqiao Town. Drivers can see the maintenance process through a web camera. The vehicle information will be saved in digital form and shared with related departments as part of big data.

“We just want to do the business well,” Fan added.
