Snow forecast at Poly Grand
SHANGHAI Poly Grand Theater in Jiading District has announced its New Year season. Forty-two shows including concerts, traditional operas and children’s theaters will be staged until March.
One sure to delight all the family is Slava’s “Snowshow,” a stage spectacle created by Russian performance artist Slava Polunin. The show has toured in over 30 countries since 1993 and will be at the theater from December 28 to January 1, 2017.
The Belarusian State Academic Symphony Orchestra will give a New Year concert on January 2. Classic works including Dvorak’s “Symphony No. 9 in E minor” will be performed.
Shanghai Poly Grand Theater has also joined up with the local civilization authority and China Construction Bank to launch a charity project in January.
The project will invite art troupes to give art classes at local communities, enterprises and universities.
