JIADING district government and Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine University are jointly setting up the Jiading International TCM Zone. With an area of 33.3 hectares, the zone will include a general TCM hospital affiliated to Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine University, clinical research institutes of the Shanghai TCM Research Institute and several projects, including the International Rehabilitation Medical Center.
Under the agreement, Jiading will complete the project plan and be responsible for the construction and funding of the project, while the medical university will be in charge of the zone’s management and introducing TCM industrial projects to the district.
