Tech fair highlights regional innovation
The three-day 8th Scientific Technology Fair for the Yangtze River Delta Region held in Jiading District recently showcased about 1,000 cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements, becoming a window and test field for scientific and technological innovation in the region.
With over 150 universities and research institutes, tech enterprises and platform organizations participating in offline exhibitions, 100 representatives from 41 core cities in the region and 6,000 visitors, the fair boosted regional integration and industrial innovation.
Focusing on future industrial tracks, industrial achievements in embodied intelligence, large AI models, low-altitude economy and life sciences were collectively presented at the fair.
Shurui Robot demonstrated surgical-level, precise human-machine collaborative operations. Humanoid robots performed interactively on site, and intelligent motorcycles that can accompany morning runs outlined a new vision for future travel.
These scenarios showed that embodied intelligence is rapidly moving from laboratories to practical applications, demonstrating broad potential for implementation, experts said.
