A DISTRICT level cross-border e-commerce platform was successfully tested with the completion of its first order and it will be put into formal operation soon, reporters were told at the Jiading Export Processing Zone. The platform is delivering imported food and beverages initially and its business scope is expected to expand to clothing, infant products, electronics, cosmetics and luggage, as these are the overseas products which are in relatively high demand from customers.
