There鈥檚 plenty to do in Jiading during city鈥檚 tourism festival

SHANGHAI Tourism Festival was launched on September 19, with Jiading hosting the Anting Auto City Carnival, Nanxiang Steamed Buns Festival, Confucius Culture Festival, Fun Games at the Huating Farmer’s House, the Cao’an Shopping Festival and activities for sports car enthusiasts.
Organizers began work on the Nanxiang Steamed Buns Festival earlier than previous years. The traditional opening ceremony has been replaced with a dragon and lion dance and tickets are available at seven online ticket websites. A DIY experience hall has been set up beside Baxian Bridge for people to learn how to make buns and people can vote for the best steamed buns on WeChat.
Science-themed fun games at the Huating Farmer’s House featuring 36 dinosaur models will be exhibited at Huating town. The dinosaurs made their first appearance last year and proved very popular. In addition, there will be juicy Hami melons, colorful pet fish, 3D films and fishing games for visitors to enjoy.
