Transport card honor for district

A special public transportation card has been issued to commemorate the 800th anniversary of the establishment of Jiading.
The card has “8” printed on it, signifying the anniversary and residents’ hopes for a prosperous district. It also resembles the symbol for infinity “∞,” to express the Shanghai’s and the district’s infinite dreams of aspiration.
Jiading’s icons and historical sites are also on the card, such as Fahua Pagoda, the Confucius Temple, Jiading Zhouqiao Old Street, Jiading Moat, Shanghai International Circuit, Shanghai Poly Grand Theater and Metro Line 11.
The card is available at Shanghai Public Transportation Card Co sales outlets at Caoyang Road station on Metro line 11 (near exit 6).
Residents can get the cards at another two public transportation card centers at 609 Jiujiang Road and 1298 Lujiabang Road.
