Upgrading improves cultural mobile app

Jiading District has upgraded its cloud-computing technology-based cultural mobile app to offer performances and lectures ticket booking services, attracting more than 13,000 users.
The app now offers 150 district and town cultural and sports activities each month on average.
Users generally spend eight minutes on average in visiting pages such as activity notices, making reservations for venues and tickets, visiting an online library and watching activities鈥 videos.
Jiading will offer more access to the public to organize a range of activities.
Jiading will use crowd-sourcing as well to support more cultural activities to enable residents to enjoy programs.
An earlier survey showed that more than 90 percent of the more than 600 survey takers replied in questionnaires that they agreed to join crowd-sourcing.
Jiading鈥檚 district library and Jiading Town Community Cultural Activity Center have been conferred with ISO9001 service system standard certificate. They become more well-organized and have sound quality control system, according to reports.
The district will rebuild and reorganize more cultural venues and facilities with this standard in next five years, officials said, while Jiading will strive to complete a national public cultural service system demonstration zone and cover citizens with public digital cultural resources.
