Work begins on commercial complex
CONSTRUCTION has started on the commercial complex of CITIC New City in Jiading New Town.
With a total planned area of 538,000 square meters, the complex will house apartments along with office and commercial space. The commercial space will include a cinema, restaurants, department stores and supermarket.
It is expected to be completed around the end of 2016.
Located at the core of Jiading New Town, the complex will have convenient public transport links as Jiading New Town Station of Metro Line 11 is nearby.
CITIC New City will also feature three parking lots with nearly 2,100 parking spaces. It is hoped that residents from the nearby Jiangsu cities such as Kunshan and Taicang will be attracted to shop here.
Meanwhile, the work of commercial supporting facilities for Jiading New Town continues to progress smoothly.
Structure of 27 buildings along Dongyun Street have been capped.
