THIRTY-THREE people from all trades and professions in Jiading were elected young industry leaders of the year. They were chosen from among 50 candidates who were split into three groups — science and innovation, innovative start-up and social development — for interview. Each candidate introduced themselves, briefed on their projects and answered questions. Their professionalism, social contribution, innovation ability, potential and project feasibility were key to the outcome of the competition. Winners will join a project to receive training courses, attend forums, carry out studies and launch field trips.
