Shopaholics now have a new place to patronize, with the official opening of the HKRI Taikoo Hui shopping mall this month.
It houses 250 shops, some of them making debuts in China, like perfume maker Atelier Cologne, the new skincare brand Cha Ling by luxury-goods group LVMH, and the first Asian boutique store of Guerlain.
The mall is part of a mixed-use complex that also includes two office towers, three hotels and serviced apartments.
For Jing鈥檃n, commercial businesses play a key role in the economy. The district has 63 鈥渂ig鈥 taxpayers who pay more than 100 million yuan a year.
