BEGINNING this month, Jing’an traffic authorities will issue free parking coupons to drivers with no road violations.
Drivers who keep clean records for one month are being tagged as “Three-Star Green Lanterns,” a name drawn from a group of superheroes appearing in US comic books published by DC Comics.
The Green Lanterns will be sent free parking coupons for the Plaza 889 in the Caojiadu Community.
Those with clean driving records for three months, or Four-Star Green Lanterns, and those with no violations in six months, or Five-Stars, will receive additional coupons for car maintenance.
Information about the program is available on the official WeChat account of the Jing’an traffic police.
