A series of new fashion collections were showcased in Jing’an during the 2016 Autumn/Winter Shanghai Fashion Week.
Italian denim fashion house Diesel held a party in the Shanghai Exhibition Center on April 8. DJs Alecs Mart and Leo Chiodaroli matched the music with the mood, and elements of today’s Internet culture like selfies and emojis infiltrated the party. A fashion show by avant-garde designer Dirk Bikkembergs from Belgium wrapped up the eight-day fashion feast.
Besides, domestic new wave designers like graduates from Donghua University and Shanghai University of Engineering Science made a splash at the 800 Show Creative Industry Park on Changde Road, an important fashion venue in downtown Shanghai.
