THE Public Participation Pavilion in the Expo theme pavilion takes the theme of "Our Homeworld" and displays many people's excellent work and moving stories related to Expo. Twelve items from Minhang have been selected for the pavilion, and they will be displayed to visitors from all over the world.
Since early this year, 405 items from various towns and communities in Minhang have been assessed in the selection process. Most of the items finally selected are handicrafts, such as woodcarving of Fu Yaoming from Xingzhuang and a perfume satchel of Haibao by Chen Xingzhi from Longbai Community.
In addition, 3,000 photographs which show various scenes of Minhang will also be on display in the pavilion.
