A8 highway work underway

THE construction of A8 Highway is in full swing. The route linking Shanghai and Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province has been closed for more than five months for expansion, and the project is set to be completed by the end of this year. At the same time, the surface section will also be finished and put into operation early next year.
In addition, the renovation projects of highway's nearby Qixin, Xinfu, Xihuan and Baochun roads are near completion. When finished, they will greatly ease traffic congestion in the Xinzhuang area.
