Three professors from Jiao Tong University were selected as academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. They are Mao Jun, dean of electronic information and electrical engineering; Huang Hefeng, director of the International Peace Maternity and Child Health Hospital; and John Edward Hopcroft, a visiting lecturer in computer science.
