CHEN Weide, a noted glass artist whose studio is located in Meilong, recently presented his artwork entitled "Saint David" to the Shanghai Museum of Glass, which is still under construction.
The piece was inspired by a visit Chen made to the Augsburg Cathedral in Germany. The cathedral contains the oldest stained glass windows in Germany, portraying the prophets Jonah, Daniel, Hosea, Moses and David.
