SHANGHAI Oriental Arts and Crafts Professional Technical Training Crafts School recently opened to the public. It's the first of its kind in Minhang, offering classes in traditional painting, calligraphy, ceramics and jade carving, among other skills. Located on Hongmei Road, the school employs qualified artisans as teachers. Students who do well may go on to take professional certification tests administered by the Shanghai Human Resource Bureau.
