STANDARD Chartered Bank opened a branch targeting small companies on Guangtong Road. It provides loans, cash management, fund-raising advice, e-bank services and foreign-exchange management, among other services. A service offering small, unsecured loans targets medium and small sized businesses seeking to borrow up to 1 million yuan (US$158,800) for a period not exceeding 36 months.
