AUTHORITIES in Minhang are stepping up their campaign against unlicensed taxis, illegal parking and other traffic violations, with emphasis on "black cabs" amid rising complaints.
It is estimated that the district has about 3,000 unlicensecd taxis. The crackdown will concentrate on the area around the Xinzhuang Metro station, the Dongchuan Road station, the Beiqiao station and the Hongqiao transport hub.
