JIANGCHUAN Road in Minhang District is one of 20 streets in Shanghai to be designated as boulevards. Jiangchuan Road dates back to the 1950s and is lined with lush camphor trees. To win the coveted listing, streets must display extensive greenery and have a non-motorized vehicle lane. Designated boulevards must be more than half a kilometer long.
