The China (Shanghai) International Art Festival in Minhang, which concluded in mid-November, was the most successful ever, according to organizers. Attendance was up to 90 percent at all performances. The festival featured a wide array of events, including the ballet “Giselle” performed by the Grand Theatre de Genève and a weeklong celebration of Argentine arts, including the Argentina Tango Gala and a piano recital by Nelson Goerner.
