THE lower road of Minpu Bridge was formally opened to traffic on April 30, offering further convenient access for residents of southern Minhang, including Zhuanqiao, Wujing, Jiangchuan and Maqiao towns.
The Minpu Bridge has a two-level structure. The upper part belongs to the S32 Shenjiahu Highway, and the lower part is a two-way road with six lanes but without a bicycle lane or sidewalk.
At the same time, the Minhang bus lines of No. 10 and No. 11 were put into use. The Minhang No. 10 bus runs from the Beiqiao Station of Metro Line 5 to the Aerospace Park Station of Metro Line 8, while the Minhang No. 11 connects the central part of Wujing Town with Pujiang Town.
