Two Minhang residents were among 20 centenarians honored with “longevity stars” by the Shanghai government during the recent Double Ninth Festival. He Lianfang and Chen Zhongbo are both 108 years old. He said she likes eating fish and sometimes eats six bananas a day. She also does simple daily exercises to keep fit. There were 136 centenarians in the district at the end of September.
