A RECENT survey of teachers in Minhang District discovered that 84 percent used information technology during their daily classroom lessons, and more than 200 schools and institutions have already connected to the Education Metropolitan Area Network.
As the first district to establish the network with optic cables, all middle schools and private schools in Minhang have been connected their own network, according to the Information Education Conference in the district. The survey also found all classrooms in district public schools are equipped with multimedia facilities.
