THE Minhang Swimming Pool opened to the public on June 30 to provide a cool respite from the summer heat. The pool is open 1-2pm, 3-4pm and 6:30-7:30pm every day. The afternoon entrance fee is 15 yuan (US$2.4), with a discount to 10 yuan for primary and junior high school students. The evening session charges 20 yuan.
