Cultural and sports center on the way

THE building of a cultural and sports center on Shenbei Road in Xinzhuang Industrial Park started.
The 4,000-square-meter center will incorporate a gym, a library, an IT room and rooms for music, bands and dancing. Construction will be completed in 2010.
In the industrial park's northern Xinze Sun Ray Community, a residential area for migrant workers, another cultural center will be upgraded with extra services added for psychological consultations and medical check-ups.
The district's Meilong, Wujing and Zhuanqiao towns also plan to renovate their cultural and sports centers.
By the end of next year, all of Minhang's towns and neighborhoods will be equipped with community centers.
