A culture communication camp for children from Taiwan and Chinese mainland opened on July 13 in the City Theater. Thirty pupils from Taiwanese families with financial troubles have been invited to visit the Expo Shanghai by the Taiwan Affairs Office of City Council and Shanghai Taiwan-Mainland Communication Promotion Organization.
