MINHANG students will be part of the opening ceremony of the Japan Pavilion at the World Expo, one of the biggest national pavilions at the world fair. The opening will involve a chorus performance by children from China and Japan and it was recently decided that the Chinese side will be the student chorus from Rixin Experimental School of Minhang. It has a long history of chorus activity and in 2008 the group sang a commercial song for Suntory Company and soon became well-known in Japan.
