Farmers earn silver medal with rice

MINHANG'S rice recently won the silver medal in this year's citywide rice competition.
A total of 36 types of rice were judged at the annual contest by more than 600 agricultural experts and citizens.
The silver-medal winner "Hanyou Xiangqing" (a rice type) was developed by the Qiuliang Agricultural Association after years of research.
The rice is produced in an organic way without using any chemicals and fertilizers.
