Ferrari center to open in park

A new Ferrari center is expected to open in the Minhang Culture Park in the first half of next year.
Founded by the Scuderia Ferrari Club Shanghai, the center will provide racing car displays and simulated driving experiences. And for those who prefer their motion a bit slower, the center will include a horseback riding area. The club said work on the nonprofit center would begin later this year.
Separately, a new energy center will be constructed to provide air-conditioning and hot water for the whole park complex. The center will focus on clean energy systems.
Park authorities said the culture park is hoping to attract more visitors from other areas of Shanghai and out-of-town visitors to enjoy the array of cultural experiences provided.
