IF you are interested in the development of aviation in China, the place to head is the new Shanghai Aviation Scientific Promotion Museum at 7900 Humin Road. The museum displays aircrafts, photographs, models and airline parts in a 2,000 square-meter indoor section and a 10,000 square-meter outdoor area. Simulators allow visitors to experience the thrill of piloting an aircraft.
The museum is open daily from 9am to 4pm, and there is an admission fee of 8 yuan (US$1.20).
