IN 2010, Minhang food supervision authorities checked 479 batches of grains, fish, eggs and seasoning products. The department reported that 95 percent of the products passed regulations, a slightly improved figure from a year earlier. Problems were found in some meat, beverage and cake products, and warnings were issued to producers who failed to meet standards.
