THE Yutang Public Education Memorial Hall recently opened in Minhang's Maqiao Town after refurbishment. The hall was once a public education site set up by Niu Yongjian, who joined Dr Sun Yat-sen in his republican revolution of 1911 that overthrew the Qing Dynasty. The site, built in 1934, offered free classes. To make a reservation to tour the site during workdays, telephone 1380-1697-090.
