ZHUANQIAO Town launched a crackdown on unlicensed eateries. During the operation, four vendors were ordered out and an unlicensed vegetable market was shuttered. Electronic scales and other equipment used by the vendors were also seized. In a separate operation, eight illegal structures located along creeks in the town were demolished for security reasons during the annual flood season. More than 200 officers and workers were dispatched to dismantle the waterfront edifices.
