THE president of the International Urban Agriculture Fund recently visited Minhang to observe the innovative project "From Seeds to Table" at Pengdu Village in Maqiao Town. The project, which started in March 2009, manages to help farmers produce crops according to the needs of the market, choose right products, and expand their production capacity. The goal is to eventually improve farmers' income.
