MINHANG gave permission to proceed to 296 new foreign-invested companies in the first half of this year, involving contracted investment of US$1.33 billion. That's up 44 percent from a year earlier. The companies included Infosys, the largest information technology services company in India, which will invest US$300 million to construct a software development zone in Zizhu Science Park.
