Keep the Expo ticket to win tourism discounts in China

The Shanghai Tourism Bureau says that during the period of World Expo 2010, many cinemas and tourism attractions in the city offer special deals to people with an Expo entry ticket.
For example, if you go to the La Rive Gauche film center on Jinhui Road in Minhang District with an Expo ticket, you can buy a film ticket for half price.
And in the cinema on the 9th floor of Nanfang Friendship Department Store in Minhang, an Expo ticket will also earn you a 20-yuan (US$2.93) discount.
At the same time in 30 major Shanghai tourism attractions, holders of Expo tickets can enjoy a 10 percent discount when buying their admission tickets.
These attractions include Jinjiang Amusement Park, Shanghai Wild Animals Park, Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, Jin Mao Tower and Shanghai World Financial Center.
Domestic Tourism
With an Expo ticket, you can also enjoy various discounts in different cities around China. During the World Expo, these cities offer preferential prices to attract Expo visitors.
Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province
During the Expo, the Hangzhou Pavilion will issue 100,000 tourism discount coupons to visitors. Each coupon is valued at 400 yuan.
With the coupons, visitors can make a tour of Hangzhou's West Lake, Liuhe Pagoda, Chenghuang Pavilion, Daqishan National Forest Park and Chun'an Qiandao Lake and receive a 50 percent discount on their admission tickets. The discounted part will be accounted for and taken off the coupon's value.
Eight cities in Jiangsu Province
Eight cities -- Nanjing, Suzhou, Nantong, Yancheng, Zhenjiang, Xuzhou, Taizhou and Suqian -- have decided to also offer discounts for tourists.
Some of them are admission discounts, ranging from 20-60 percent, and some others apply for hotel and lodge accommodation and catering, ranging from 30-60 percent. In some museums in Zhenjiang, the admission can be free.
Huangshan Mountain in Anhui Province
During the Expo, tourists can enjoy a 10 percent discounted admission by presenting the Expo full-price ticket.
Xi'an in Shaanxi Province
Tourists with Expo tickets can visit 18 scenic zones for free in Xi'an City, and in another 39 attractions, including Lishan National Park and Datang Furong Garden, there will be a discount of 20-50 percent.
Also, if visitors check into hotels in Xi'an City, they can get a 20 percent discount.
