Keeping miniascapes in winter

Temperature
Because many of the plants used in miniascapes come from southern China, the works should be kept in temperatures between 10-15 degrees Celsius during the winter. In springtime, they will come back to life from a period of dormancy.
Sunlight
Give sufficient sunlight to miniascapes in winter to prevent infestations of disease or insects.
Water
Water the miniascapes twice each week, just enough to keep the soil damp. Give the leaves a light spray every day. It’s better to warm the water a bit during winter.
Fertilizer
A very light touch of ordinary fertilizer dissolved in winter is sufficient. Don’t over-fertilize if the plants are dormant and hold off on fertilizer if flowers are in blossom.
