Kindergarten celebrates its opening

A NEW kindergarten has recently celebrated its opening in Minhang District with a gathering of early childhood education professionals.
Wang Jing, the child care director of Tian Heng Ming Du Kindergarten, told journalists that innovative teaching methods and flexible holidays make teachers work more efficiently.
Parents are also invited to join the kindergarten's management team, which have greatly contributed to the success of running the kindergarten, according to Wang.
The director of the kindergarten offers every teacher a flexible holiday period that makes them work harder and more efficiently.
Parents are also invited to hold regular discussions about educational theories, Wang said.
Space visit
As many parents work at Shanghai Spaceflight Academy, children at Tian Heng Ming Du Kindergarten have been invited to visit the academy and see their work.
As interaction is one of the most significant goals of education, Wang said the kindergarten would manage to foster interaction between different kinds of families.
This is designed to strengthen ties between families who work at the Spaceflight Academy and families that have been relocated to the area.
Every weekend children from the different parts of the district go traveling together, during which time parents can share their education experience, and can help children with different backgrounds become closer.
