LED screens light the future for Sansi

DURING the opening ceremony of Expo 2010, the LED screen in the background of the stage attracted many people's eyes. It kept changing pictures and fit the performance on the stage perfectly.

Actually, this LED screen which contains many high-end technologies is made by a Minhang enterprise -- Shanghai Sansi Electronic Engineering Corporation.

As a private enterprise, Sansi was established in 1993. After several years' development, it has already become one of the national leaders of its kind

In many places of Shanghai -- Oriental Shopping Mall, Shanghai Theater, and Shanghai International Circuit -- the LED screens are all made by Sansi. Besides that, the company also participated in many social projects, like the lighting improvement project on Yan'an Rd.

The LED screen seen in the Expo opening has over 13 million pixels with several advanced control technologies. For this Expo, Sansi has provided about 300 LED screens and lighting systems.

At the top of Expo Culture Center, the funnel-shaped LED screen is composed of several layers such as regular information layers and time-counting layers.

Each layer can do its own job at the same time -- in the Stage Grid Pavilion, a hexahedron LED screen provides visitors with a 720 degrees' visual experience, while in the "low-carbon action" section of China Pavilion, several Sansi LED screens form a series of continuous pictures.
