A book about old Minhang has been published to mark the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the district. Edited by folklore expert Zhang Naiqing, "Memories of Old Minhang" describes the history and development of Minhang spanning seven centuries. The book includes street scenes from yesteryear and reminiscences from elderly residents who have spent most of their lives here.
