THE Shanghai City Theater will offer two low-cost art appreciation courses themed on folk dances and ballet to cultivate public awareness of music and dance. The courses will be held on March 11 and March 25. Fees range between 20 yuan (US$3) and 60 yuan.
The theater will also stage a concert to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8. A number of famous old Chinese songs, sung by female singers such as Teresa Teng and Paula Tsui, will be performed. Ticket prices range from 80 yuan to 160 yuan.
