HONGQIAO Town Library recently held an opening ceremony after its reconstruction. After the redesign, the book collection of the library reached over 40,000 volumes.
It's also the first library in Minhang District to carry out the "group borrowing service"-- schools, communities and troops in Hongqiao Town can apply for a group library card, borrowing up to 100 books with each card.
After several months' trial, this new service is expected to be promoted all over the district.
